Sometimes, lingerie can feel a little silly to me, like I’m playing dress-up in another woman’s clothes, a woman more glamorous and feminine than me. It feels like a costume. That’s not to say it isn’t fun to do. But wearing a smart, fitted trouser makes me feel as sexy and desirable and confident as I’m sure lingerie makes other people feel.
