I get home in time to say goodbye to my kid before school. I’m exhausted. I could use a power nap. Drew tells me we are leaving soon. An early AM play date. My horoscope said to “spice things up” today. I’ll give it a shot. I showered. Chose lingerie under jeans & a flannel shirt. I love the contrast of lace & flannel. I’m so tired as I’m driving but I’m psyching myself up for some fun. We arrive. It’s raining outside. Drew & my play partner (I’ve been with him before) messaged last night to reconfirm our plans. “I’ll be right back,” Drew says as he hops out of the car into the rain and runs to the front door. I lean my head back on the headrest and close my eyes. It feels so good to take a moment to rest my eyes. No sooner have I closed my eyes when Drew is back… *to be continued*
