This pasture is so lush now. The bulls and cows have been grazing it for the past 6 months or so. When we started here, the land had stiff brown/green grass with thick dead clumps. Over time, the bulls and cows dropping manure added bacteria and worms to the soil. Their hooves stomping repeatedly aerates the dirt and breaks down large clumps of grass, allowing the healthiest roots to come in. This is the power of regenerative ruminant animal grazing.

I’m so excited about this little Jaboticaba tree I just planted. It’s a tropical fruit tree from Brazil that makes juicy berries that grow on the bark of the tree. I’ve never seen anything like it!! It’s so unique and magical. Can’t wait for this tree to take its sweet time and fruit. 🌳
