Glad the weekend is finally here 🎉 and that I got these seasons of Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia on DVD, you never know when a streaming service might take down your favorite TV show! It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is probably my favorite TV show of all time. Creator of the show, and actor, Rob McElhenney, spent less than $100 to film the pilot episode, after the pilot aired, FX decided to pick up the show and asked Danny DeVito to accept a role as well. DeVito agreed since his kids are fans. From then on, he played Frank on Its Always Sunny.

One of my favorite genres, Italian Mafia Movies. *The Godfather, Good Fellas, The Irishman, and A Bronx Tale* are just some of my favorites. There is no one who directs these movies better then, Martin Scorsese (in my opinion). However, Francis Ford Coppola (director of, *The Godfather*) has directed some of my favorite movies as well. Francis Ford Coppola’s birthday is today! Going to celebrate by watching The Godfather movies 🎉

Whenever I watch a movie I set my phone on do not disturb. 🌙 even if I’m watching something at home, I turn that setting on. My *biggestttt* pet peeve is when I hear a phone go off or someone take a call when I’m trying to watch a movie with them. 🙄 I must admit, I am the type to ask questions during a movie though. 😆 would this annoy you? Let’s talk about where we worship films. 🍿 Movie theaters used to try and compete with home viewing options by offering amenities that you wouldn’t find in a living room. With time, the amenities that movie theaters provided weren’t enough to compete with home viewing options. As we’ve seen within the past 5-8 years or so, theaters have been trying to mimic our home viewing experience by offering more comfortable seating and even cocktail options. What are some of the things theaters near you have started to include in their business? Do you prefer watching a movie at home, or in theaters?

Interestingly enough, the shark was never called any name in the movie, *Jaws*. In reference to the film director, Steven Spielberg's lawyer, Bruce Ramer, the fans and film crew decided Bruce would be the name we call this iconic shark 🦈

Movies vs Books 🎥 📚 I watched the movie, *Beautiful Boy* before reading the book. Typically, I like to read the books first and then see the movies. This preference applies to other series, such as, *The Hunger Games, Twilight, Harry Potter and LOTHR* . However, in this case, I was just as touched by the book as I was by the movie. I think picturing Steve Carell as dad and Timothée Chalamet as son was perfect when reading. Sometimes when a book hits the big screen, I don’t agree with the choices made as far as casting goes. How do you feel about books vs movies? Dm me movies you think should have stayed just as books. Or movies that you’re so glad were made because of a book you enjoy!

Nick Cage movies, yes or no? I gave both of these movies a try- *Pig* and *Massive Talent* , I’m going to be honest… I couldn’t get through more than 25minutes of Massive Talent. Pedro Pascal is even in it and I didn’t even see his part 😳 However, I do recommend that you check out the movie, *Pig* . I did find reasons to dislike it, overall, I was interested in what was going to happen throughout the duration of the movie. You’ll have to see and let me know what you think. 🙃
