I use essential oils in a lot of my soaps and body care products! 💚Not only because of the beautiful scents it brings to the products, but they also offer antioxidant, bactericidal, virucidal, fungicidal, antiparasitic, insecticidal and medicinal properties to the products as well. 🧪Some essential oils alone can be excellent natural preservatives in certain products. While using essential oils can be an amazing thing, they can however be both allergenic and or toxic to its users. 🙅🏻♀️The amount that you use and the way you apply essential oils is extremely important! I like to think of essential oils like medicine. Just like the medicines we take, dosage is important, as well as the way you apply/consume it. 👩🏻🔬

I have been learning how to use preservatives (like these) in some of my body care products lately.✨ It is necessary to use preservatives In most products that either have water in them or that will be at some point introduced to water. Its important for preservatives to be in certain products just to make sure there is no bacteria or mold growing within that product.🦠🙅🏻♀️ Bacteria and mold is obviously not good for our skin, so in these cases preservatives really can help keep us safe!💚
