Fun fact. I am actually a certified glute specialist in addition to a CPT. I’ve also been occluding my own legs and glutes for over 5 years. Occlusion training ( 🩸 flow restriction) is one of the most important tools in my kit. Basically we’re tricking the body into thinking we’re lifting heavy when we’re not. It sets off a chain of chemical reactions within the body that help to grow muscle. SAVE (and share!) this post if you’re trying to add size somewhere! I have until the end of January to decide if I’m doing a show in April or not. 🤔 I’m currently trying to “lean grow” for Worlds in August. If I decide to do the April show this year as well I’ll have to take a little 8-10 week break from building to get stage lean. Then I’d have another 8-10 weeks to reverse diet and build until having to cut again for Worlds in August. I don’t have too far to go so I could pull it off… Should I do it?
