I am feeling so good today compared to the last two days. And I might even get togo home today!! I finally don’t feel like I’m going to puke anymore and I ate some breakfast today! I hadn’t eaten anything substantial since Monday night.

Hey guys, it’s Mr. Austin again with another update.

She is doing amazing and the neurosurgeon thinks they got the entire tumor out! They will keep her in the ICU until later this evening and then move her to a regular recovery room. She will be staying in the hospital until at least Thursday/Friday. The doctor said it will be 7-10 days for the biopsy to come back but all signs are pointing to a benign Meningioma. 🙏 🙏 Taylor is thinking her hearing is a little off in her right ear but the doctor isn’t too concerned. He said it’s probably fluid build up and trauma related more than hearing loss. We are so thankful for you all.

I got hijacked in a meeting by two VPs and I was not happy about it since I’m the one the called the fucking meeting with the overly dramatic nurse who is not following processes. That was my meeting to lead and they fucked up and will hear my thoughts on it today. 😋😋
I’m also anxious about migraines as I got one yesterday that wiped me out in the afternoon and typically they come back about two weeks before my Botox injection and we are two weeks out. They were SO bad in July/August and I don’t want to do that again. I feel ok this morning but my vision is extra blurry right now which is not a good sign. I have got this though 🧠👊🏼👊🏼.
And lastly - I’m obsessed with these Ugg dupes with the teddy bear fabric and these jeans and really this whole outfit! I think it’s a super cute work from home/do a couple errands look and I might wear it to hockey this weekend! We will see!

So the update is that I have a brain tumor. That is still so freaking weird to say! But the type of brain tumor is almost always benign. 🙌🏼🙌🏼
It’s called a meningioma and it’s in my auditory canal and also touching a bunch of nerves that could definitely be causing the headaches and vision issues that I’m having. I met with one of the best neurosurgeons in the country the other day and the plan is for me to have it surgically removed. I am SO grateful to have access to an amazing medical system and to get this diagnosis and plan so quickly. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
I have an appt tomorrow to check my hearing and waiting on a surgery date but I had a pretty good day today. Still functioning enough to send this out and up past 8pm for the first time in a week so that’s a good thing!
